Meet Dr. Elliot Haybarger
Endodontist and Dentist Anesthesiologist Spartanburg, SC
Dr. Haybarger completed his dental school education at Midwestern University CDM. Following dental school, he completed a three-year post-doctoral residency in Dental Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). This included formal training in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Obstetric Anesthesia, Pediatric Anesthesia and General Anesthesia for various medical and dental procedures.
For two years he traveled the state of South Carolina performing IV sedation and General Anesthesia for various patient populations.
Subsequently, he continued his education at UTHSC in Memphis, TN with a residency program specializing in Endodontics (root canals).
He is extremely excited to be back in South Carolina with his wife, Dr. Shawna Baxter, a Periodontist in Spartanburg and puppy Gumbino. Upon his return, he founded Carepoint Endodontics in Spartanburg.
Dr. Haybarger enjoys lecturing on various topics including sedation, pharmacology, physiology, medical emergencies and endodontics.
Dr. Haybarger is honored to be lecturing at the American Association of Endodontists upcoming annual meeting in Nashville, TN.
In his spare time, Dr. Haybarger enjoys sporting events, the outdoors, fitness and spending time with family and friends.
